Geora is on a mission to connect every farmer worldwide with financial and data systems, so they can invest in sustainable production and receive fair value for their produce. We are the first SaaS blockchain platform built for agri-supply chains, and provide our customers with digital tools to build the next generation of agriculture. We are a deep tech start-up, and have been leading at the junction of agriculture and blockchain since 2017.

The Opportunity at Geora

We have an exciting opportunity for a creative and ambitious sales and marketing pro to join Geora on the ground floor, and grow alongside an early-stage startup.

Having just finalised our Seed round and with some awesome new investors on board, we are growing our core team. The Geora vision is being built by a core of high-achieving, self-motivated and sustainability-minded individuals across product, tech and operations.

We think you’d like this role if you’re looking to dive deep into the junction of the world’s oldest and newest industries, you love blue sky thinking, and you can bring with you solid experience in technology sales and marketing

As a member of the Geora core team you will:
  • Champion the Growth function by building a positive growth culture, strategy, and processes.
  • Initially focus on hitting SaaS sales metrics, by connecting with and onboarding a range of customers from different agri-industries across multiple geographies. You will manage the sales cycle from lead generation through to platform onboarding.
  • Work closely with the CEO to foster key relationships with our platform partners and industry bodies.
  • Bring your love for crafting customer messages to our marketing campaigns, running surveys and campaigns across a variety of platforms to better understand our customer base and build our brand in the market.
  • Lead a rapidly growing team across all of Geora sales and marketing efforts to grow our customer base, improve the platform experience and support our business goals.
What you bring to the Geora core:
  • Solid experience in a tech sales or marketing position, or an equivalent role
  • Confidence with digital and product marketing strategies and technologies
  • A love for communicating and engaging across different mediums, including direct to customer and written campaigns (English required)
  • Strategic thinking: you can tackle ambiguous problems and use data to bring direction to our global growth activities
  • Self-motivated, high performer wanting to own the Geora mission and take initiative to be a key player in realising our vision
  • Knowledge of technical product sales is a plus, willingness to learn in the deep-tech space is a must
  • Passion for sustainability and agriculture
